"education inc.'" screening

NYSUT is hosting a free screening of the documentary film “Education, Inc.”  It will be playing October 6, 2015 at The Huntington Cinema Arts Center and October 7, 2015 at The Bellmore Playhouse - see the attached invitation with links to register.  The documentary shows how one community in Colorado is fighting back against the push to privatize their public schools and explains why big corporations push for more and more high-stakes testing.

This heartening story demonstrates how working together “WE” can help prevent the destruction of public education.  The movie will help bring together our community and galvanize support to take action.

Following the movie the panel discussion will afford the audience members several actions they can take to protect their public schools.
