On Monday, November 7, a representative from the law firm of Feldman, Kramer & Monaco will be in the BMUST office for will planning sessions. Those who wish to sign up can do so using this sign up link. To ensure your appointment goes smoothly, please complete the attached questionnaire in advance. As a reminder, this benefit is available to you at any time. You are not restricted to scheduling a consultation on this designated date. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up here. Any amount of time you're able to give is appreciated. NYSUT will provide refreshments and devices to make calls on, using openvpn.com. The Community Cupboard is in need of adult volunteers on Thursday, 10/6 from 3:30 - 4:30 pm.

Our annual "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" Walk at Jones Beach (Oct 16, Field 5) has become an important charitable activity for our BMUST family. The American Cancer Society started Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks to unite communities in the fight against this deadly disease. Today, Making Strides is the largest network of breast cancer events in the nation - and we do more than just walk. We raise money to help the American Cancer Society fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and provide patient services like free rides to chemo, free places to stay near treatment, and a live 24/7 cancer helpline. But we can’t do any of this without the help of people like you. Please see the attached flyer for more details, including locations for the day of the walk on our Making Strides Brochure.
