Election Day is quickly approaching, and early voting begins this Saturday, October 28. To find out the times and locations for early voting, you can visit https://www.voteearlyny.org. 

In addition, Newsday has released its annual Long Island Voters Guide, which provides information about local races, candidates, and propositions.

Finally, NYSUT's Nassau regional office sent its endorsements for Nassau County, and the Suffolk Community College Faculty Association (the Suffolk Legislature is the Board of Education for the Suffolk Community Colleges) offered its endorsements for Suffolk County. Both are attached to this email.

On Wednesday, November 15, representatives from the law firm of Feldman, Kramer & Monaco will be in the BMUST office for signing sessions. For those who have sat down for planning prior to this school year, you should have received your packet in the mail, and need to contact the law firm with any edits in advance of the appointment.

VIRTUAL RETIREMENT SEMINAR

BMUST welcomes back Retirement Consultant Hank Sessa on Monday, December 4, from 4:30-6:30 PM via Zoom Video Conference.
Hank will consult with our members on matters dealing with retirement and retirement planning.
 
Topics discussed will be relevant to teachers at all stages in their career. New, mid-career, or retirement age members are all encouraged to attend this informative seminar.
