Dear Eligible Employee, It is time for eligible employees to enroll in the 2017 Medical Reimbursement (Flexible Spending Account) and Dependent Care Accounts. New for 2017-Medical Reimbursement has increased to $2,600. OPEN ENROLLMENT FOR THE FLEX SPENDING AND DEPENDENT CARE ACCOUNTS FOR THE 2017 CALENDAR YEAR WILL BE NOVEMBER 1, 2016 THROUGH NOVEMBER 30, 2016. CURRENT PARTICIPANTS: To enroll in the 2017 Flex Plan/Dependent Care you MUST enroll through the BRI Websitehttps://www.benefitresource.com/. If you supplied a valid email address you should have already received an email from BRI “How to Enroll in your Beniveral FSA”. The BRI email will contain “How to Enroll…” instructions to be done directly on the BRI website. If you have not already logged on, you must do so in order to manage your 2016 account, as well as receive important email alerts. You will need to know the following to log in for the first time: BRI web-address: https://www.benefitresource.com/ Company Code: WSBOCES 9 digit employee ID: 5 digit school ID: 54385 plus the last four digits of your SS# (no spaces or dashes) Password: default 5-digit zip code The $500 Rollover on Medical Reimbursement will be available again. However, any 2016 funds rolling over into 2017 will have a limitation. If a participate does not re-enroll for the 2017 plan year, those 2016 funds will be available only through December 31, 2017. FYI : 1.Current participants will not receive new cards and should keep their cards. 2.We suggest you enroll online prior to November 30, 2016 NEW PARTICIPANTS: New Participants not currently enrolled during 2016 should open the attached file titled 2017 Flex Benefit Election Form-NEW ENROLLMENT ONLY and follow the instructions. I have also attached a FSA enrollment brochure to help answer any questions for new enrollees. To ensure your enrollment is processed on time please submit the 2017 Election form to thePAYROLL DEPARTMENT no later than Wednesday, November 23, 2016. The deadline for enrollment in the Flex Plan/Dependent care is a firm deadline implemented by WSBOCES. If you do not enroll within the aforementioned time frame you will not be eligible to enroll until the following open enrollment period.
