Calhoun NCAA Boxes 2024
Please see attached - if you are interested in purchasing a box you can either give Sean Formato cash at tonight's meeting or venmo me (@BMUST) - please be sure to include the box number in the Venmo info. "Will Days" are an included benefit of the NYSUT Legal Plan, which BMUST members are automatically enrolled in.
A representative from Feldman, Kramer & Monaco will meet with members in each building for Will Planning sessions. March 4 - LITBF Scholarship Applications due to the Union Office Rob Walsh President Meg Hirsch10:41 AM (4 hours ago) to bcc: me BMUST belongs to the Long Island Teachers’ Benevolent Fund (LITBF), which offers a yearly scholarship, (the Len Motisi Memorial Scholarship) to high school seniors graduating this year, who will be attending a post-secondary institution on a full time basis and whose parent is an active teacher in a Long Island local. Many of our members’ sons and daughters have been awarded this scholarship over the years. The attached application must be sent back to the BMUST office no later than March 4, 2024 to get my signature on it and for me to send it to LITBF before the deadline of March 11, 2024. You must include a copy of the school transcript, with the current GPA on it. If the transcript does not contain the GPA, your Guidance Counselor must submit a statement with the scores. Please fill the form in as soon as possible and forward it to me through interoffice mail. Please note, you are now required to include your NYSUT Member Number on the application. If unknown, please reach out to Meg in the BMUST office. 
BMUST welcomes back Retirement Consultant Hank Sessa on Monday, December 4, from 4:30-6:30 PM via Zoom Video Conference.
Hank will consult with our members on matters dealing with retirement and retirement planning. Topics discussed will be relevant to teachers at all stages in their career. New, mid-career, or retirement age members are all encouraged to attend this informative seminar. RSVP HERE The Zoom link will be shared in advance of the seminar.
