Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

​Welcome back, BMUST Members! I hope you had a wonderful summer.

I’m excited to let you know that BMUST will once again be joining the Annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Sunday, October 19th at Jones Beach, Field 5. This is always such a powerful day of unity, hope, and action—and many of you have already shown your commitment by participating in past years. Let’s come together once again to make our presence felt and show the strength of our BMUST community.

We’re asking members to get involved in one or more of the following ways:

• Join our BMUST team online: Sign up at http://main.acsevents.org/goto/BMUST to walk with us and/or make a donation.
• Donate by check: Make checks payable to The American Cancer Society and send them to Meg in the BMUST Office.
• Venmo: @BMUST - last four digits 8842

This event is about more than just a walk—it’s about standing side by side with colleagues, friends, and families to honor survivors, remember loved ones, and fuel the fight for a cure. Every step, every contribution, and every show of support counts.

Please help spread the word at your school-based union meeting using the enclosed flyers, and encourage your colleagues to join us. The more of us who participate, the stronger our message of hope and solidarity becomes.
