REVISION: Show Your Solidarity - Wear Your BMUST T-shirt on Friday, May 4th

Dear Member, 

This afternoon the high schools will receive the BMUST t-shirt and the middle schools will receive them tomorrow at their faculty meeting. These shirts were ordered for you by your union. We ask that you wear the t-shirt to work on Friday, May 4th.  Although that day bears no specific importance, we’ve selected it as OUR day to demonstrate our unity and pride in unionism. 
 
As we await the pending decision by the U.S. Supreme Court in the Janus case and witness the thousands of teachers demonstrating in different parts of the nation for fair pay for teachers and professional rights for us all, let's wear the t-shirts to recognize the importance of our union rights and as a promise to each other to keep our local, state, and federal unions strong in the face of attacks from political institutions and outsiders.

If you did not order a t-shirt and would still like to order one, please contact Kim in the BMUST office or see your head building representative.
