PROFESSIONAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE

This committee was established by contract as of July 1, 1972. Ours is one of the few districts where teachers have a direct voice on a building and district level regarding such matters as promotions, transfers, leaves of absence, and the status of probationary teachers. The PAC monitors the evaluation and tenure process, but tenure decisions are by law made by the Superintendent and the Board
